Five books about one couple and one book about five partners are very different plans.
The short answer
Choose by relationship structure before heat level. Compare Crossfire for one central couple across five novels, Beautiful for changing couples in a shared circle, Saint by Sierra Simone for a male/male standalone, and individual Beyond novels for broader configurations. Check each book rather than relying on a series-wide label.

These examples answer different requests. They are not ordered by quality or popularity.

'More than one love interest' can mean a triangle that ends in a choice, a lasting multi-partner relationship, or simply several relationships across different books. If a recommendation leaves that out, it has skipped the part that may matter most.
The r/RomanceBooks polyamorous-romance megathread collects several configurations under one heading. It is useful for discovery, but you still need to read the details of each suggestion. The thread title is not a guarantee about every relationship in every book.
Start with who stays central
Decide whether you want to remain with one couple for a long arc or meet a new pairing in each novel. Then decide whether the final relationship should involve two people or more. Those are independent choices. A connected series does not automatically mean a group relationship.
The same care helps with shorthand. M/M describes a male/male pairing. 'Why choose' usually signals that the protagonist does not have to select a single partner. It does not tell you whether the other partners have relationships with each other. Ask if that distinction matters to you.
Keep the series whose relationships interest you together, and mark which books you've already finished.

- A broader range of configurations. Kit Rocha's Beyond includes varied relationship tags across individual books. Read the specific novel's description; a scene involving several people does not by itself establish the lasting relationship.
Let the request carry the details
Try: 'Adult contemporary romance with a lasting multi-partner relationship, no love-triangle choice at the end, and no requirement to read another series first.' Or ask for the opposite: one monogamous couple, one novel, a clear resolution. Neither request needs an apology.
I would also name the language and format you need. A recommendation can be perfect on paper and unavailable in the edition you can read. Do not assume that an English Reddit link points to a translated ebook, or that every audio edition has the same narrator.
Once the relationship structure fits, use the BDSM guide or plot guide to narrow the rest. A specific preference gives you a smaller list. That is the point.
